The news reporter is stating that there is no strong leading republican in the race and that even republicans arent happy about the candidates. This cartoon relates to the current political republican race. There is no clear ideological perspective from the artist in this cartoon. The artist demonstrates an even playing ground. the satire and irony affect the message by stressing that there is no real strong republican candidate and that there is a problem with that. If even republicans don't follow the candidate than how are they ever expected ton win?
